Video: La Rayuela (Hopscotch) - Kids, Parents and Family
| Video: La Rayuela (Hopscotch) La Rayuela works by giving vulnerable children the emotional and practical support they need to return to school, and by offering vocational training to prepare them for a better future. Between 200 and 250 children and young people aged between 7 and 22 attend La Rayuela on a regular basis (around two-thirds boys and one-third girls). La Rayuela also offers family support and counselling to address negative attitudes towards education and help parents tackle the issues affecting their childrens development, 150 family members directly benefit from the range of family support services. Above all, La Rayuela offers a safe, stimulating environment for children away from the poverty, violence and abuse surrounding them at home and in the streets. In this video the children will introduce La Rayuela to you giving you a guided tour, explaining what sort of activities they carry out at the project and how they make a difference to their lifes.
