Unfortunately, parents forget that they were also kids once in their life so they forget what their own children go through as young children, as teens, as young adults. It's good to constantly remind them and to urge them to really listen to what their kids are saying and even those messages that are hidden in between their words, which are sometimes more important than what comes out of their mouth. |
