| Christmas in Cali, Colombia with more than 100 children With the support Solidary Foundation, and especially the president Mr. Paul Chehade, on December 19 of 2009, we celebrated in Cali, Colombia with more than 100 children, the Christmas novena. All the assistants enjoyed food, candies, ice creams, gifts, and a complete day of recreation. This could not be possible without the kindness of the volunteers; we would like to give special thank to them. We mention the dedication of Ms. María Victoria Calderón and Ms. Angela Calderon. In this special Saturday we thank the generosity of Mr. Chehade who year after year, has sent us scholastic gifts, clothes, medicine, equipment to give to these less lucky children. We hope that Good continue giving Mr. Chehade many blessings, so he can continue his amazing labor of faith, hope, and love to community. Con el apoyo de la Fundación Solidary, y especialmente a su presidente Paul Chehade, este 19 de diciembre del 2009, celebramos en Cali, Colombia con más de 100 niños, la novena de navidad, todos los asistentes pudieron disfrutar de comida, dulces, helados, regalos, y un día completo de recreación gracias a los voluntarios. En este sábado tan especial dimos gracias a la generosidad del Sr, Chehade quien año tras año, nos ha enviado regalos, ropa, medicina, útiles escolares para entregarles a estos niños menos afortunados. You have given enormous happiness among kids. You brought hopes on their hearts and let them realize that God is within them in your person. I hope that there will be more foundations that will be set up and offer volunteerism to the needy. |
| It is good to know that there are still those people who are trying their best in helping out those people who are in great need. To reach out to people is one thing, and to give them something more than material things like hope and dreams is one thing. I truly admire people like these. Hope that these kind of activities continues. Have a good day ahead to all. |
| Christmas is one of the great dates in the year where almost all people are really glad to have. I want to know much about that area. We are in great stuff when this season comes. We commonly state in houses but it will be a great deal if you can be in Parks, beaches and in other places for recreation. I hopw it will be possible in no soon time. |
| Paying it forward by helping the less fortunate is truly a great way to share your blessings and be thankful to God. Christmas is first and foremost, for children and if they receive such gifts, they will feel God's love and blessings for them as well. The more you give, the more you receive and the more you feel good. We should do this more often to spread God's love and joy. |
| I am sure that many of these children who experienced this benefit at Christmas time will never forget it and always assosiate Christmas as a time for giving as a result of the selfless actions of these individuals in this group. I know that there is much criticism of projects which are done on holidays, because the argument is that they should be done all the time, and yet you really can't ignore the impact such holiday events have. |
