In most parts of the world, it is said that Education is almost the only inheritance parents can pass on to their children. Besides, a good education has been said to guarantee a good future but of course this has to be coupled with responsibility.

I am eager to know what sort of education system is employed in Columbia and its major demerits and merits. What requirements are in place for foreigners wishing to pursue education there?
