Cartagena was also the port were slaves brough from Africa by the Spanish colonnizers were forced to work in the extraction of gold and precious stones. Cartagena still keeps some of its buldings and its fortified walls dating from the time of the Colony. As someone said "The danger of Colombia is to fall in love with it", due to the warm hospitality of its people, its food, its natural beauty, a country bathled by 2 oceans and several rivers, with an extraordinaryly rich flora and fauna (the second richest in the world). Travel with this video for a while to Cartagena de Indias and enjoy and fall in love with it!
